Sunseeker as a brand is at the forefront of the Australian marine market and is seeking a customer focused reception and office administrator to join the team. The role will be reporting the Managing Director and as such will require a high level of professionalism. This role has the opportunity for some flexibility of hours, however applicants will need to be available, on occasion, outside traditional work hours for events and other business needs.

You will have key responsibilities in your role covering general administration and reception, but also have responsibility for some marketing and event activities and contractor management liaison with our Sydney based agent.  This role is diverse and requires exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a mature approach to the tasks at hand. Working closely with the Managing Director this role will involve some aspects of an Executive Assistant.

Marketing activities include co-ordination of a quarterly publication, website maintenance and managing the prestige event invites.

Policy development, contractor and moorings management will also form part of this role along with strong liaison with the warranty claims and parts co-ordinator.

This is a hands-on role and will require you to take ownership and responsibility for your work and the contribution you make to the team.  Strong communication skills are essential as is a willingness to step up and learn the intricacies of this dynamic business. You will be highly organised and be able to build yourself as a person of trust in the organisation.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have demonstrated experience in a Reception / Admin role
  • Have advanced excel and accounting software (industry specific software is used)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills demonstrated in previous roles
  • Previous experience in a personal assistant role is desirable
  • Be a strong team player with a flexible approach to your work.

Exposure to the marine industry, retail, sales or service industry experience will be highly regarded.
