Our client is a long established Property / Asset Management / Investment company and has a diverse portfolio of properties. The company is consistently growing it's portfolio and has a successful track record of success.
Located in their Alexandria Head Office close to public transport, they are looking to appoint an Property Administrator in this very diverse and pivotal role within their cohesive head office.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Involvement in all aspects of properties such as showing properties, negotiations with prospective tenants, assisting with leasing of properties, ingoing & outgoing condition reports, rental increases, leasing paperwork etc.
- Ensure properties are well maintained by tenants, including quarterly inspections
- Conducting inspections as necessary
- Liaising with Real Estate Agents, Tenants and Suppliers in a professional manner
- Maintaining all filing and ensuring all documentation is filed in an organized manner
- Represent the company at events as required.
- Keep abreast of market conditions, opportunities and competition.
- Assist the Director with typing various correspondence/ emails
- Reviewing and if necessary preparing various property reports e.g. retail tenancy agreements
- Debt collections as necessary from various tenants from various properties/ companies- residential / commercial
- Assist the bookkeeper with basic bookkeeping duties as necessary
You will have excellent communication, computer (PowerPoint skills are essential) and analytical skills for this role PLUS at least 4 years all-round Property Administration experience preferably gained within a property / asset management / investment company. Qualifications in real estate / property related would be highly regarded.
You will have an ability to multi task, work to deadlines and under pressure. Your sound communication skills will assist you to build report with the numerous stakeholders both internally and externally. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, can do and self starter attitude will also assit you to secure thie role.
