Our client is a leading Federal Government Agency based in Canberra CBD. They are looking for an experience Support Officer Administration to start immediately on a 6 months contract. We are looking for only Australian Citizens.

Reporting to the Business Services and Quality Coordinator the Support Officer Administration will be responsible for assisting with the document control and quality management functions of the division.

People who are successful in this position must have the following pre-requisites:

• Demonstrated experience with administering a Content Management System (preferably SQUIZ);

• Demonstrated experience in editing website content and production of publication materials;

• Demonstrated experience in working closely with managers, team leaders and technical service staff (internal & external) to ensure the service delivery objectives for document control and the Quality Management System are met;

• Demonstrated ability to assist in the development and delivery of high quality documentation to various audiences.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with project administration.

• Demonstrated experience in assisting with the administration of quality management systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills, communication skills and customer focused approach; and

• Self‐Motivated with a high level of initiative, along with excellent organisational and time management skills with an unwavering attention to detail

Major areas of Responsibility

• Assist with the document control function managing over 5,000 controlled documents as part of a continuous improvement project;

• Reviewing existing documentation for accuracy and completeness as part of an ongoing review cycle;

• Developing/Editing documents suitable for publishing on the Department's Intranet working with document owners and their teams;

• Updating and maintaining document control and feedback registers;

• Assist with general filing including the use of HPRM (electronic filing of records);

• Assist with the administration of the quality management system including following up on actions and outcomes from audits;
