John Holland, with joint venture partners CPB Contractors and Ghella (JHCPBG JV), have been awarded the contract to deliver the $2.81 billion second stage of Sydney Metro, City and Southwest, Australia’s largest public transport project.

With a new crossing under Sydney Harbour, the 15.5 km TBM tunnels will run from Chatswood, through the CBD and then to Marrickville. The project includes building complex underground structures for five new stations in Crows Nest, North Sydney, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Pitt St and Waterloo.

We are looking for ‘high performing’ people to join us to deliver this iconic project and leave an amazing legacy for the people of Sydney.

To assist in the next phase of our mobilisation, we are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join our Administration team based in Chatswood.

 



Key responsibilities within your role will include:

  • Enter/update vendors in PCR
  • Raise & Manage Purchase Requisitions
  • Collect, collate and enter delivery dockets into PCR
  • Administer supplier purchase orders and invoices
  • Scanning of documents in PCR
  • Administer expense claims
  • Administer Project Manager Visa Card
  • Prepare site accruals with Project Staff
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate project records are kept
  • Manage area office filing and archive systems
  • Meet with parties/Managers to resolve any outstanding project issues and communicate project progress
  • Manage area office stationery, couriers and staff amenities
  • Collate monthly timesheets for staff
  • Enter weekly workforce timesheets in to KRONOS
  • Communicate any issues with Administration Manager
  • Provide assistance to secretarial staff

To succeed in your role, it is expected you will have experience in:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in an office environment
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience administering the relevant accounting systems utilised by the project
  • Corporate or site-based experience within construction, transport or related industries desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Proven time management, planning and organisational skills
