Design & Build are currently inviting applications for the role of Business Support Officer to join a large, rapid growing Council in Melbourne's south - west. 

Working along side the Team Leader in the administrative operation of the children school crossing supervision service including the recruitment & training of crossing supervisors, managing rosters & authorising time-sheets & providing professional service to support the Community Laws & Compliance unit. 

Key Requirements: 
  • Experience in administration duties associated with children’s crossings.
  • Understanding of relevant Council legislation 
    Experience with the supervision of staff
  • Previous experience with operational rosters
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Computer literacy and a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Excel suite of programs
