The Administration Officer – QIS is responsible for a range of functions including being the first point of contact for the Written Off Vehicle Inspections Division (WOVI) for Queensland Inspection Services (QIS).  The position requires excellent handling of customer enquiries and the receipt and book-in of vehicles requiring a WOVI inspection. All information received is of a highly confidential nature and confidentiality is to be maintained at all times.

Role Duties

  • Greet customers at QIS reception and answer their enquiries to offer exceptional customer service to QIS and Manheim customers and clients.
  • Receive telephone calls and enquiries, then accurately record information as received.
  • Build a good knowledge of WOVI in order to aid customers with enquiries.
  • Ensure the WOVI Inspector has the required and correct documentation in order to perform inspections.
  • Create bookings for inspection in the SAP system for all WOVI sites.
  • Protect the integrity of the WOVI's.
  • Liaise with Queensland Transport (QT) and coordinate files for WOVI inspectors.
  • Update and extract relevant information from the QT database.
  • Ensure all relevant customer and vehicle documentation is copied and filed.
  • Perform general QIS administration tasks, and assist Manheim general administration team as required.
  • Assist the Cashiering team by processing all facets of cashiering as required.

  • Intermediate Office and Outlook.

This role is full time with a roster of Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm.
