About the business
MARS Recruitment are working with a reputable Insurance organisation in Sydney's CBD. The organisation is a leading company in the insurance industry. There are a number of projects ongoing currently which are underway to grow the business in 2018 and beyond.
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and reliable Adminstration Professional to support one of the key project teams. In short, they will be expected to provide a range of administrative and other services to ensure effective support is given to the team to facilitate their work.
Within this remit, the key responsibilities will include:
- Word processing, data entry, preparation of correspondence, templates, reports, agendas and minutes of meetings, distribution of mail, photocopying, ordering, catering, room bookings and storage of stationery and equipment.
- Coordinate, determine and complete financial and purchasing transactions on behalf of the team and ensure that the team complies with procurement and financial processes.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will:
- be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- be able to demonstrate experience in a customer-facing environment
- be comfortable in both a corporate and casual working environment
It would be an advantage:
- if you have performed a similar role in an insurance setting
