About the Position
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Project Administrator to join our dedicated Project Delivery Team, based in Melbourne, Victoria. As the Project Administrator you will provide administrative, clerical and financial support in a timely, accurate and confidential manner to the Project Delivery Manager as required and to the Craigieburn to Crystal Brook project delivery team. In working with this close knit project team, you will collaborate with other dedicated employees across the business to deliver important rail infrastructure projects.
  
About You
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven experience in an a previous administration role;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing customer service to internal and external customers;
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision;
  • Knowledge of or an awareness of Work, Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation;
  • Demonstrated ability to use judgement and discretion in the dissemination of information;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Understanding of financial (accounting) principles.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
  • Advanced typing/keyboard skills.
  • Experience in financial management (e.g. processing of purchase orders and invoices, accruals, forecasting and project close-out).
  • Experience with working in the rail sector.
  • Experience in the application and use of document management systems.
  • Experience in the application and use of asset management systems. 
Appointment to the position is subject to a criminal background check and ARTC's medical fitness standards that are relative to the position. ARTC is a drug and alcohol free working environment.
