Permanent / Full Time - 40 hours per week with ADO

The Women’s has over 250 Senior Medical Staff, 190 EFT of Junior Medical Staff in rotational positions and a significant cohort of Honorary appointments to ensure that we continue to as a leader in maternity services and the care of newborn babies, gynaecology, assisted reproduction, women’s health and cancer services.

Our team’s major areas of focus encompass recruitment and retention, orientation and induction, rostering, credentialing, budget forecasting/planning, leave management and workforce planning across all Medical Staff at the Women’s.

Your contribution

As the Medical Workforce Coordinator you will work with the Manager of Medical Workforce to take operational responsibility for the Senior Medical Staff Workforce Recruitment and Employment portfolio.

About you

As the successful applicant to this role you would have the following:

  • Previous experience with managing and rostering medical staff is highly desirable
  • Experience with medical staff recruitment
  • Demonstrated public sector experience in the same or similar role is highly regarded
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience around the budget process and preparation and understanding of policies surrounding these reports
  • Experience with working alongside variety of health professionals
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service and stakeholder relationship management
