Detail information about job Processing/Documentation Clerk. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Full time administrator for fast paced export company in Rocklea
  • Modern offices, small and friendly team
  • Role requires dedicated multitasking extraordinaire!

Our client, a successful export firm, currently has an opening for a Processing/Documentation Clerk. Based in Rocklea, this role processes customer orders and coordinates related documentation relating to the company’s schedule of exports. It’s a fast-paced role, requiring the incumbent to efficiently manage their workload each day.

The administrative team ensures the company’s processes for exported goods are coordinated efficiently so that all goods arrive at their destinations on time and as ordered. A normal day in the role will see the successful applicant completing a range of responsibilities including recording the details of jobs as they come in, raising export related documentation, taking care of export related financial transactions and processes, and liaising with customers and other stakeholders.

The following skills, experience and abilities are required for the role:

  • 2+ years of experience in an office-based role or similar;
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • A high level of initiative and dedication to your work;
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to appropriately resolve customer issues and/or other conflicts;
  • Experience working with competing demands in the workplace which require the juggling of time and people's expectations;
  • Availability to work one in three weekends (these are an on call 'as required only' rostered arrangement and done mainly from home – generous allowance provided).

The successful applicant

Our client is moving into its busiest period and ideally requires someone who is ready to start soon. The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is commonplace. Those who can demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, initiative and team work will be highly regarded.

Due to the expectations of the export industry, applicants who apply should be aware that some flexibility with start and finish times is required. While not excessive, a reasonable amount of overtime is necessary to meet the demands of overseas clients who are in different time zones. Therefore, the role suits someone who is hungry to work in a new industry and make their mark by maximum focus and effort.

Applicants within a reasonable drive of Rocklea are preferred.

Applications

Please send us your up to date resume through Seek without delay. Applications close COB Wednesday 18 July 2018.
