About the role

This position is about providing a high level of administration support for the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) Office. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support for all academic governance committees, policy review and approval, accreditation application, implementation of key quality improvement initiatives for ensuring regulatory compliance of courses and processes across the institution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide administrative support to the appointed secretaries for the relevant academic and quality committees. Ensuring the planning, management and documentation of the relevant academic and quality committees is performed in accordance to the ICMS Charter and governance guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support to QAA team members for application of re-registration and course accreditation. Ensuring accurate record keeping and gathering and maintaining the evidence requirements, course curriculum and submission documentation.
  • Working with the QAA team members to provide support and operationalised the ICMS Quality Assurance Framework. Provide administrative support in maintaining the continuous improvements register, evidence collation and maintaining centralised document repository.
  • Assist the QAA team members to administer the policy review and development process. Ensuring and maintaining the record, paper circulation and submission documentation for approval by relevant governing committees.
  • Assist academic and QAA team on the course and subject review process including maintaining the curriculum documentation, and provide data to the academic team for use in course review.

Skills and experience

Essential criteria:

  • Ability to work independently and maintain performance under pressure
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the Higher Education sector and understanding of ESOS regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written communication skills including documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in Office365 and Student Management Software/Database
  • Highly developed organisational, analytical, conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Time-management skills, ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Full working rights in Australia
