About the Employer
Our client is a supplier of Safety Clothing to the Mining and Construction industry. They are a well established family business that is growing and evolving in an ever changing market. They are expanding their business into the Brisbane market and expect strong growth in this exciting new phase.
  
About the Role
Initially this role will be divided into two parts. Whilst the business is establishing itself and the sales grow, the sales support person will be maintaining the office and supporting the Sales manager. It is envisaged that this part of the role will take place each morning from 8/8.30am – 12. The second half of your day will be spent in a face to face customer service role on the retail floor.
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Admin support to the sales manager including organising quotes, and following up on quotes
  • Answering phone enquiries
  • Liaising with customers
  • Entering orders into the computer system
  • Ad hoc administrative duties including filing, faxing and date entry
  • Face to face customer service on retail floor  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
  • A flexible and happy disposition
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong customer service experience
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office
  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Drivers licence
