Due to continued business growth, there is an opportunity for a part time Receptionist / Administrator to join our small tight-knit consulting engineering team in a relaxed, friendly environment.
To start, your part-time days will ideally be Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct incoming calls, taking accurate messages as required
- Communicate with clients and suppliers via email and phone
- Preparation of letters and company documents, etc.
- Maintenance of office consumables
- Assist with day to day running of the business
- General administrative duties as required. Some of these duties include typing, scanning, filing, etc.
- Data entry
- Organise couriers as required
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience in a similar role and preferably within an engineering or professional services industry.
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Fast and accurate typing (min 40wpm)
- Excellent computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- High attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate clearly and directly
- Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Work independently and without supervision
- Current drivers licence
