We are an Australian owned and family operated Company that imports, markets and distributes a diverse range of high quality international and locally branded products to the DIY Hardware, Garden and Home Improvement Retail Channel. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and driven individual to join our successful team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this is a key role in delivering outstanding customer service through the provision of quality and prompt product and service information and resolution of product and service enquiries.

We are looking for someone with a confident and positive persona, smart presentation and a strong and reliable work ethic, able to communicate well at all levels with all internal and external stakeholders.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Reception Duties
  • Order Processing via phone, email, EDI, fax & face to face
  • Handling Customer enquiries and issues via telephone and email
  • Customer database management
  • Dealing with returns and credit claims
  • Managing specific VIP customer orders
  • Processing of daily order reports
  • Other adhoc duties as required by management

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience, in an office environment
  • Pronto experience - preferred
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • 'Can-do' attitude
  • Take direction and contribute to team goals
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • High-quality problem solver
  • Enjoy working within a team
  • Ability to multi-task, show initiative and meet deadlines
  • An understanding of Inventory Control and Warehouse functions

Generally the hours for this role are 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Experience working with a Pronto based WMS/ERP/CRM or working knowledge of Customer Service Management/ERP software will also be highly regarded.
