Finance Support Officer

Part time, fixed term 30 June 2021, (subject to funding).

 

We are currently seeking a Finance Support Officer in a part time (0.6 FTE 22.8 hours per week) capacity, located in our Traralgon office. This position will provide quality, consistent and timely financial support to the Manager Finance and Administration, and the Corporate Services team. This role requires a high level of performance in office related financial functions, and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

A key function of this role is to ensure the organisational purchase order process is correctly followed from commencement to completion. In addition; reporting all aspects of the purchase order function to management including all variations and any errors.

 

Our ideal applicants will have:

  • Relevant experience in a role involving the provision of financial support services;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing professional customer service in a timely and courteous manner;
  • Ability to coordinate a number of concurrent activities within often challenging timelines;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated literacy, numeracy and accuracy;
  • High level skills in Microsoft Office and electronic systems required to carry out the functions of an administrative Finance Support Officer role;
  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision; and
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
