Two positions (Permanent and 6 month Maternity Leave Relief). Full time roles (38 hrs per week) $66,397 to $71,257 plus 9.5% superannuation. Flexible Working Conditions.

Council is seeking two motivated, energetic, and team focussed individuals to join the Business Enterprises and Communications as well as Development, Environment and Regulatory Services Divisions.

The successful candidates will have previous experience as a personal assistant, be highly motivated, and will ideally possess a commitment to the Vision, Mission and Values of the Town of Gawler.

Reporting to the Executive Managers, you will use your excellent time management and organisational skills to great advantage in assisting in planning and managing the operations of high performing Divisions.

These roles will be responsible for (amongst other things):

• Coordinating agenda reports and taking minutes for various council/committee meetings;
• Providing effective, high quality administrative and secretarial support for both the Business Enterprises & Communications (Permanent) as well as the Development, Environment & Regulatory Services (6 month Contract) Divisions;
• Supporting the Records Management function as needed;
• Undertaking various research and analysis.

Whilst previous experience in Local Government will be well regarded it is not essential to the roles.
