Our Geelong-based client is looking to engage an experienced System Administrator for a full-time 6 month hands on working role within their Corporate Records Management team. as the organisation moves towards working in a digital environment.  The role involves a full range of activities associated with a software upgrade, include the introduction of additional products to improve ease of use.
  
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, your main activities will include to:
  • Provide upgrade support including testing, issue resolution, acceptance testing and go-live support
  • Provide Help Desk Service software and associated add-in products
  • Import or migrate data into the appropriate datasets
  • Manage record types, security, etc. to ensure the software performs as required
  • Ensure that ongoing maintenance program activities are undertaken
  • Ensuring system development and utilisation assists in meeting the compliance requirements
  • Provide training assistance to identify, develop or revise training and appropriate support documentation
To succeed in this position, you will have:
  • Advanced computer skills including EDRMS systems administrator level training
  • Ability to resolve a range of technical problems relating to computer software and hardware
  • Implementation and/or software support experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of records management principles and practices and PROV requirements
  • Knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations that may have an impact of system design
