Senior Client Services Officer – NSW Government

A Senior Client Services Officer is required by a NSW Government Department based in Nowra for an initial 1.5 month contract. The Senior Client Service officer will provide high-level administrative and correspondence to the office, monitor and report on the processing of correspondence, and assist with the development of complex correspondence.
  
Key accountabilities:

• Undertake preliminary assessment of complaints and correspondence and prepare responses to these
• Assist the team leader to ensure records, documents and correspondence are promptly processed and accurately recorded
• For complex matters; refer correspondence/complaints to the relevant team
• Maintain the office’s complaints and allegations database
• Assist with the production of the monthly schedule of complaints and the resolution of enquiries into complaints and allegations

Selection criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Well-developed information technology skills
• Sound experience with various software packages; ability to quickly adapt to new systems
• Sound understanding of government mechanisms
• Ability to work with competing deadlines and priorities
• Strong communication skills, particularly written
