AcuEnergetics® operates within the alternative health sector and has a Treatment Clinic and School located in Balmain. As an expanding modality, we are looking for someone to help us with reception and admin in the AcuEnergetics® Clinic. It is a lovely place to work, surrounded by great people.
We are looking for someone to work full time 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm.
Job description
Work in a wonderful and relaxing workplace, with friendly people and lots of autonomy. The job will be full time on reception, but also involve assisting the General Manager in a wide range of areas of the business, including:
- Managing the Clinic Reception, for example:
- Managing a busy diary for the practitioners who treat at the clinic
- Taking payment for these appointments, both on the phone and in person
- Confirming appointments
- Greeting clients as they arrive for their appointments
- Making sure the clinic reception looks presentable
- Cashing up at the end of day
- Managing our student clinic program
- Liaising with Practitioners:
- Taking their payment for room hire etc
- Communicating procedures etc to them when needed
- Informing them of important deadlines, clinic changes, events etc
- Managing enquiries about AcuEnergetics® and Workshops/Trainings:
- Responding to phone calls, emails and web enquiries
- Taking bookings/payment for workshops
- Marketing and PR assistance, for example:
- Creating emails to send out to our student database
- Communicating with our students on our FaceBook page
- Assisting with marketing materials for treatments, workshops, and retreats
- Assisting with promotion of workshops and special events
- Preparing informational materials for guests and clients
- Workshop and course management, including:
- Managing course bookings and payment plans, as needed
- Preparing workshop notes, course materials, posters and dvd's
- Planning support materials for courses, such as nametags, tea and snacks
- Special Events: Assisting with Event co-ordination and management at any promotional events involving the public, such as the Mind Body Spirit Festival
- General administration assistance, including:
- Inputting student details into an online database
- Completing website updates
- Word processing, Excel work, and Powerpoint editing
- Student liaison
- Assisting with postage and mail collection, restocking the shop, etc.
The successful candidate should be:
- Available 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
- Experienced in a similar role, ideally a clinic or similar
- Highly organised and responsible
- Have good attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team
- Friendly and confident talking to people
- Happy to do small or large tasks
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Comfortable using the internet
- Happy to work in a small business environment
- Able to work between the hours of 9am and 6pm on work days
- Have an interest in alternative health
- Be interested in a long-term role
