ArcBlue is a specialist procurement consultancy firm, working with a wide range of public and private sector organisations across Asia Pacific.

Since opening in 2012, we’ve seen rapid growth and success within our field.

As we continue to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a junior Team Assistant to join our Melbourne-based Corporate Services Team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

This fast paced role will see you supporting our Melbourne team as well as being a point of contact for our teams across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong & Singapore.

About The Role

This junior role will support the Corporate Services team and will report into the Executive Manager.

A varied and busy role, it will involve tasks relating to our marketing, tenders and proposals, travel and expenses, our portal, our eLearning and general team support.

The Team Assistant will provide critical support and be the 'go-to person' for queries from consultants across the business in our Asia Pacific region. The role will involve coordination of our tenders and proposal process and collateral; quality checking proposals, client documents and eLearning; assisting with following up and inputting expenses into our system and coordinating travel bookings.

In addition to this, the role will provide ad hoc support to the team which may involve assistance with banking, stationery orders, mail, formatting, filing and other administrative tasks.

You will be in regular contact with our Executive Managers and Directors and will also assist us to coordinate meetings with our external clients.

About You

You will have previous office experience, ideally having supported a team or multiple stakeholders. Experience working in a fast paced environment with varying priorities will be highly regarded.

You will be a confident communicator and be comfortable speaking to our senior team and external clients.

Your attention to detail will be highly developed and you will have superior written English skills.

Other requirements include:

  • Experience managing multiple conflicting deadlines

  • Experience creating and checking proposals or business documents

  • Strong MS Office suite skills and ability to pick up new systems and understand them quickly

  • A proactive personality with the ability to work autonomously

  • Experience working within an ambiguous or an agile environment

  • A degree or diploma in business or a related field will be highly regarded.

The Perks

We are a friendly office filled with passionate people who work hard.

Our office is well located just a short walk from Southern Cross station and we have a relaxed dress code.

Initially a 6 month contract, there may be opportunity for a longer term role in the future due to the growing needs of the organisation.

This is the perfect opportunity for a junior administrator to showcase their skills in a supportive environment with a start-up vibe.
