Office Manager role for a Building Company, medium to large company, up to $90k + super, great company
Your new company
Your new company is a highly regarded building and surveying company in the CBD. They are currently involved in Melbourne's largest developments and working alongside Tier 1 builders and Architects. They have a strong Administration team and are currently on the look out for a Office Manager to oversee all areas of the business.
Your new role
This role truly is like no other. The successful candidate will get to be involved in all areas of the business while also shaping their role with management to suit the needs of the business and their personal desires. Some key duties of the position will be:
- Oversight and management of Administration staff, including daily operations, work allocation as well as setting and managing staff KPIs
- Managing the ongoing professional learning and development of the administration team including dispute resolution and performance reviews
- Hiring, training and on boarding of all new staff including managing the full recruitment process and systems training
- Marketing coordination including running events, designing marketing material, maintaining the website design and news articles
- Tender and fee proposal management including coordination, content development and submission
- Ongoing development and management of key internal administration processes
- Report collation and analysis
- Working closely with Directors to review processes and procedures and ensure that the business is running as efficiently as possible
- IT resolutions and inspections
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you must have senior Office Management experience ideally within the Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Property or related industry along with:
- Management experience with a small to medium size team in the past
- Strong communication ability, stakeholder engagement skills, team building skills
- A background with various sectors of business including HR, Marketing, IT and Administration
- Strong administrative capabilities
- Strong systems knowledge
