THE ROLE:
  • Supports the Team through drafting, proofing, editing confidential correspondence on a routine basis; ensuring all legal and finance documents are signed and recorded.
  • Conduct research in a proactive manner on a range of commercial topics.
  • Prepare reports and statistics to support the board report process.
  • Support the team in preparing and collating board reports.
  • Liaise directly with external stakeholders.
  • Monitor all incoming and outgoing documentation including the creation and closing of files.
  • Coordinate training/team meetings and other team activities
  • Manage active calendar of appointments.
  • Compose, formatting, polishing presentations, papers, reports and any other correspondence that is sometimes of a confidential nature within agreed timeframes.
  • Arrange travel plans, itineraries and agendas; and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming issues and concerns including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. 
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Executive, Commercial teams and other internal teams.
  • Promote a safety culture within working teams and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with the Safety Management Framework.

THE CANDIDATE:
  • Minimum of five years' experience supporting multiple Executives in the Commercial sector.
  • Highly articulate, expert written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Experience supporting work teams in high pressure environments.
