HOBAN is seeking to engage the knowledge and experience of a Student Engagement Officer for a Registered Training Organisation based in Murarrie. This role will involve developing supportive relationships with current students to ensure active learning.
Reporting to management, you will be responsible for the following accountabilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with enrolled students (via phone/skype) to ensure active participation
- Provide student support through the coordination of trainers, academic support and student services
- Assistant in the distribution of critical communication to students and student feedback
- Provide accurate records management within relevant systems
- Coordinate and/or participate in projects or various activities when required
This role will be part-time (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 0830 – 1630 with flexibility for earlier/later starts when required.
As an experienced Student Engagement Officer, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Ability to develop rapport with stakeholders (internal and external)
- Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Proven experience within outbound call centre, education/early learning or RTO sector (highly desirable).
