This is a fantastic opportunity for a receptionist to join our team in Newtown on a casual/ part time basis.

Working with a team of professionals, you will be the first point of contact with our patients, as well as taking care of administrative duties.This is a flexible role for the right person including up to 5 shifts per week.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Providing a courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
  • Answering phone calls in a professional and personable manner
  • Managing appointments
  • Processing accounts, payments, balancing daily banking, bookeeping
  • General administrative/clerical duties as required
  • Maintain Clinic looking tidy at all times
  • Preparation of rooms for patients.

Selection Criteria:

  •  Excellent communication skills
  •  Experience within a general practice environment required
  •  Ability to follow instruction and show initiative
  •  Maintain an excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  •  Bookkeeping skills would be advantage.
  •  Ability to work as an effective team member
  •  Flexibility with working hours is essential
