Hermes Capital is a specialist provider of cashflow finance and asset-based lending to Australian SME’s seeking opportunities to recapitalise or grow their business. Our growing company is looking for a motivated Sales Support Executive to assist with developing and implementing growth strategies to achieve revenue goals.

The successful candidate will be assisting in developing the existing referral partner database, as well as managing both existing and new business enquiries. You will be working closely with the State Manager for training and education purposes, providing the necessary insights to be able to manage referral partner relationships and client meetings.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build & maintain relationships with existing key accounts, customers and company stakeholders
  • Screen potential business deals by analysing applications received against in-house lending requirements, including basic financial statement review and analysis
  • Complete credit submissions (initially with assistance) on new applications
  • Using a CRM system, track the progress of sales stages and report on a weekly basis
  • Manage the flow of transactions from application through to settlement
  • Liaise with internal staff and external clients to ensure smooth process of funding; liaising with both to manage issues and contacting senior management for assistance where necessary
  • Assist the State Manager with both new and existing finance enquiries, credit applications and general account management
  • Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

 

Successful applicants will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate drive, passion and flexibility
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Availability to travel when necessary to meet with customers and/or stakeholders and build business relationships
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously from time to time
