Join the UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology as a School Administrative Assistant providing professional administrative support to the School Executive, academics and students as well as supporting the smooth operation of the School.

The School of Electrical and Data Engineering is part of the UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), known nationally and internationally as a leader in engineering and information technology education and research.

The School Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for all staff and HDR students within the School. 

Main duties/responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the School Executive
• First point of contact for staff and HDR students within the School
• Support the smooth operation of the School

Skills and experience required:

• Great interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to easily build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
• Good computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience providing administrative support to multiple stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: $62,828 to $67,202 pa (HEW 4)

The university offers 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.

This appointment will bemade continuing full-time basis.
