Melbourne Motorsport Co has an opportunity available for a senior bookkeeper and administration assistant seeking a varied and autonomous role. Based in our headquarters in Carrum, this position is central to the efficient functioning of the business.

The position will include a wide variety of work, and the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating accounts receivable and accounts payable processes (manage all invoices)
  • Management of CRM software
  • Book keeper duties including month-end reports including BAS
  • General payroll administration and HR duties
  • Managing stock and inventory levels, including ordering stock and liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting with marketing including managing social media accounts, as well as websites, brochures and similar material
  • General office administration including filing, data entry, record-keeping, ordering office supplies and assisting with other administrative duties as required
  • Administrative and PA support to management team (including calendar management, document formatting, data entry)
  • Maintaining office cleanliness and presentation

Experience is required;

This position is full-time Monday – Friday.

  • Confidence in dealing with people both on the phone and in person

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, including word processing, document formatting, and basic Excel skills
  • Quick and accurate bookkeeping skills.
  • Previous reception, administration, or office management experience.
  • A willingness to listen and learn and then work independently from instruction.
  • Attentive to detail & high degree of accuracy, and an interest in processes, systems and planning
  • Hard working, with a willingness to learn and accept new challenges
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

You will work directly for the Director but also work with Team Manager.
