We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic office administration assistant. The successful applicant needs to be an articulate, well-organised professional to handle a range of tasks that will assist with the operation of our Head Office in Ermington and provide executive and administration support to our CEO.

 

We are looking for a bright and bubbly person who thrives working in a fast-paced office environment where no task is too small or too big. This role would suit someone looking for a role that is flexible around school hours.

About the role

In this role, you will continually be challenged, continually busy and showcasing your experience. An integral role within the business, this is a permanent position.
  
Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support to all departments including executive support for the CEO
  • Managing office suppliers i.e. cleaners
  • Ordering staff amenities, office supplies and stationary
  • Event planning and co-ordination for corporate events both AU & Global
  • Organising team celebrations and gifts
  • Digital marketing tasks as required (social media updates, monthly newsletters, printing, binding, posting)
  • HR administration tasks as required
  • Finance and bookkeeping support including banking cheques
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • Performing data entry and scanning documents
  • Running company's errands to post office and office supply store
  • Assisting in resolving any administrative problems

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years' experience in office administration;
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Highly organised and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, articulate and trustworthy approach
  • Professional attitude with strong customer service skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team when required;
  • Sound problem solving ability;
  • Capacity to deal with various and often conflicting priorities;
  • Flexible and easy-going attitude with a sense of humour;
  • Highly developed communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships; 
  • Current drivers licence
