Belbridge Hague are looking for an enthusiastic and very well organised assistant to provide full-time support within their HELP Team.
Being a member of the HELP Team involves:
– Working closely with your colleagues in a positive environment that encourages learning and growth;
– Being transparent and communicating effectively so that the team can work together to achieve our client’s goals;
– Monitoring deadlines and team workload to ensure that tasks are completed without delay;
– Embracing new and changing technology so that the HELP team can be as paperless and technologically advanced as possible;
– Assisting clients with purchasing and selling property and with the administration of deceased estates.
To be a member of the HELP team, you will be:
– Highly organised with excellent time management skills. As a legal assistant, you will be supporting paralegals and solicitors to ensure that tasks are finalised quickly;
– Conscious of maintaining an exceptional attention to detail. You will need to draft documents for paralegals and solicitors with efficiency, whilst also taking great care with grammar, spelling and factual correctness;
– Enthusiastic about learning and growing your knowledge and skills;
– Skilled in your ability to operate technology and software, and to learn new electronic processes quickly;
– Able to work effectively in a team. The HELP team work on files together and this can only run smoothly when you are accountable and helpful towards the other members of the team;
– Able to work alone. Even though our team works closely with each other, there are also many times where you will need to be focused on your own work which will require an ability to focus and resist distraction;
– A fast learner. You should be able to take sufficient notes about various processes and take responsibility for reading manuals and guides which will help to limit the amount of time spent re-training.
