The Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA Australia) is searching for an Education & Member Services Manager to join their vibrant team in engaging members and enhancing membership value through professional development, education and membership services.

About FMA Australia

FMA Australia is recognised internationally as the peak body organisation representing the facility management industry in Australia. With over 2000 members, the association provides a range of member services including industry advocacy and research, networking, business development and learning opportunities.

The Role

Based in Docklands and reporting into the Chief Executive Officer, this role will take the lead in delivering a positive membership experience and increasing membership retention through the execution of the membership programs and education/training programs across Australia.

Specifically, the position will:

  • Coordinate the roll out of training and professional development for members across Australia including enrolment, supplier liaison and stakeholder involvement;
  • Market and promote education and training opportunities across the membership base;
  • Develop and implement an annual membership renewal program;
  • Liaise with and assist members, branches or other stakeholders in relation to all membership queries; and
  • Report on activities including updated and relevant metrics for education, professional development and membership.

The Successful Candidate

Preference will be given to those who have worked for or had experience in membership based associations, can show excellence in membership engagement and knowledge in the delivery of education and professional development programs. To support this, confidence in taking complete ownership of the role, ‘managing up’ and the ability to juggle multiple projects to specific deadlines is critical.
