The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for someone to work within their Operations team. This opportunity offers you the chance to utilise your skills and knowledge in document control and quality management while working as a part of a team that undertakes a range of flexible and targeted compliance functions, including communication and education, provision of information and advice, certification and monitoring activities and incident investigation.

The Role:

As a part of the Operations team you will be reporting to the Business Services and Quality Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the document control and quality management functions of the division. Duties will include:

  • Assist with the document control function managing over 5,000 controlled documents as part of their continuous improvement project
  • Reviewing existing documentation for accuracy and completeness as part of an ongoing review cycle
  • Developing/Editing documents suitable for publishing on the internal Intranet working with document owners and their teams
  • Updating and maintaining document control and feedback registers
  • Assist with general filing including the use of HPRM (electronic filing of records)
  • Assist with the administration of the quality management system including following up on actions and outcomes from audits

The Person:

Our client is looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running. You will need to be self‐motivated with a high level of initiative, along with excellent organisational and time management skills with an unwavering attention to detail. Ideally you will have experience with administering a content management system (TRIM, EDRMS, SQUIZ etc.). Experienced in and be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, communication skills and have a customer focused approach. In addition you will have:-

  • Demonstrated experience in editing website content and production of publication materials
  • Demonstrated experience in working closely with managers, team leaders and technical service staff (internal & external) to ensure the service delivery objectives for document control and the Quality Management System are met
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the development and delivery of high quality documentation to various audiences
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with project administration
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with the administration of quality management systems

The Salary:

$40 - $50/hr + Superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.

*This is an hourly rate contract which includes leave loading in lieu of annual and sick leave.
