My client is a logistics company specialising in electrical goods. An integral arm to this business is their E-Cycle Department. The recycling of electrical goods (ewaste) is not only essential for our planet, it  is heavily regulated by our governments.

The department requires a Personal Assistant to assist the Chairman and the General Manager of Ecycle Solutions. The company is a co-regulator of the National TV & Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS). In addition, Ecycle is the largest recycler of polystyrene packaging in Australia.

The role is suited to a multi-skilled Personal or Sales Assistant that has a background in Marketing. Any experience with government policies in the recycling arena would be looked upon favourably.

 

Policy and Procedures

  • Read, understand and carry out company policy and procedures as documented for NTCRS compliance
  • NTCRS Reporting as required by regulations
  • Upkeep Ecycle policy and procedures as well as maintain governance document

Sales and Marketing 

  • To create a social media strategy 
  • Working closely with the company’s marketing agency to develop web content and other marketing strategies through different mediums
  • Lead generation through incoming and outgoing calls

Administration

  • Administrative requirements of Group Chairman, including personal finance, correspondence, diary management, travel arrangements, filing & other matters as directed
  • Advanced Office Suite skills with a strong focus on Excel
