About us

Checkside is a growing management consulting firm that believes that the right organisational structure, right people, right performance systems and great culture are at the heart of business success.

We help growing organisations across Australia meet their people challenges, including mid-sized emerging private enterprises, well-funded listed companies and commercially minded community groups. Our expanding client base also covers a variety of industries - from resources to construction, engineering, technology, professional services and more.

Our IP, tools and services provide clients with strategy led, high value advice that helps them embed the foundations, practices and habits they need to scale their businesses successfully. Our core values of one team, making an impact and being down to earth permeate everything we do and we are now looking for an experienced Team Coordinator to support our consulting team, and join us on our journey.

The opportunity

We are seeking someone to proactively coordinate our consultants and projects through managing forecasting and scheduling client work, creating professional documents and presentations, managing our information, researching contemporary HR practices and systems, and overseeing the capture and storage of our intellectual property (IP).  In turn, this will enable our consultants to focus their time and energies on working directly with our growing client base across the country.

This is a newly created role that will require exceptional organisational skills and a calm and composed manner as you will be supporting multiple consultants in an environment of constantly changing priorities.  You will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a degree of ambiguity (read -  at times you may need to be a mind reader!) and be adaptable to the working styles of multiple consultants.  An eye for detail and planning rigour will be critical to success in the role.

Our business is agile, fast-paced and constantly evolving – so you will need to find change stimulating to enjoy working with us. In return you will be working with a team of committed consultants who are assisting clients that are at the forefront of their fields of expertise, and technologies that are driving improved business efficiencies.

The keys to success in the role include;
  • Superior organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A calm demeanor
  • Scheduling experience in a professional services or technical environment
  • Confident and practical problem solving capability
  • Professional communication skills
  • Advanced level MS Office skills
  • Experience in project management software
  • Strong systems, database and SharePoint skills more generally
