The Opportunity

An opportunity in a mid-sized accounting firm located in Brisbane's CBD has arisen, requiring a full time Corporate Secretarial Administrator to join their team.  A competent Administrator is needed to handle all corporate affairs work, deal with lodgements, producing client packages and possibly providing administration backup as needed. 
  
About the Company

This is a mid-tier accounting firm who value and recognise quality workers. This environment would suit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with prior experience in an accounting or legal firm dealing with corporate secretarial work.  
  
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Corporate affairs - Creating of Companies, Unit Trusts, Superannuation Funds, Bare Trusts, Discretionary Trusts, and other entities
  • Applications for TFNs, ABNs etc. with Australian Business Register
  • Extensive liaison with Australian Securities and Investments Commission
  • Production of client package, assisting with Financial Statements and also Tax Returns
  • Data entry and database management
  • General administration and personal assistance as required
Requisite Skills & Experience
  • Proven administration experience with extensive corporate affairs experience
  • Experienced in liaising with the ATO and ASIC, lodging forms and following up
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • MYOB and Xero experience would be beneficial
