We are an award-winning tax accounting firm that has recently experienced an exciting period of growth and expansion. Our accounting firm provides tax advice, business services and solutions to our valued and versatile client base both domestically and abroad. Ideally  you will be still studying or just graduated to become an accountant to join our expanding team. This is permanent and full-time position.

In this role your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Answering of all incoming queries and responding to accordingly,
  • Supporting staff in preparation of financial reports,
  • Basic bookkeeping tasks,
  • Filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning and other ad hoc tasks as requested,
  • General administrative responsibilities such as data entry, typing letters, invoicing,
  • Organising, confirming appointments and greeting of clients,
  • Sorting and registering ingoing and outgoing mails,
  • Follow up client enquiries,
  • Producing of management reports.

Skills and experience for the successful candidate:

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills,
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to manage databases,
  • A professional phone manner with the ability to handle a number of queries in an efficient and effective way,
  • High attention to detail, solid organisational skills and a high work ethic are essential,
  • Exceptional organisational skills – ability to prioritise, take initiative and work autonomously,
  • Team player willing to contribute to business objectives and goals in a dynamic business,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • Adaptable and flexible working style,
  • Attention to detail, quality and timely execution of tasks,
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills,
  • Judgement and decision making ability,
  • Responsible and reliable work ethic,
  • Calm under pressure with a "can do" attitude,
  • Previous  experience in accounting, finance or insurance field is an advantage,
  • Studying to become an accountant or just finished the course is an advantage,
  • Knowledge of HandiSoft, MYOB, XERO & Quickbooks is preferred,
  • Knowledge of second language is a plus.
