WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead, manage and develop the Prize Administration Officers on a day to day basis, ensuring adherence to procedures and delivery of quality customer service.
  • Implement strategies to optimise the customer experience and services provided.
  • Ensure staff are fully trained in procedures and system functionality.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Prize Administration Team Manager on staff performance and work  with the Team Manager to address performance issues.
  • Oversee receipt of customer prize claims and related customer support including enquiries over the counter.
  • Investigate outlet prize payments, claimaint integrity and third party requests for information.
  • Oversee and create opportunites for product sales in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia only.
  • Oversee Central Syndicate management, primarily in Queensland.
  • Authorise prize payments, including old unclaimed prizes, Outlet Prize Claims and Retailer Reimbursements.
  • Administration support as required (potentially across jurisdictions), including but not limited to cheque administration and supervision of lost/damaged ticket searches.
  • Ensure staff adhere to procedures to meet regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Develop and maintain skills and operational knowledge in relation to systems and processes with a view to continual process improvement of work practises. 
  • Manage and authorise promotional prize fulfilment.
  • Support complaint handling, resolution and escalations.
  • Support financial administration tasks including verification and authorisation of payments, and purchasing within budget constraints.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team, performing administration and financial management functions and operating within in a highly regulated enviroment.
  • Intermediate spreadsheeting, word processing, email and scheduling skills, and general computer literacy.
  • Strong customer service philisophy and ability to attend to a broad range of customers and their related needs.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. 
  • Well developed organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to travel interstate.
  • There are no mandatory tertiary qualifications for this position, however training in a business related field or relevant industry experience (for example retail, customer service or banking) is highly desirable.
