This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leading educational research company, whose mission is to provide innovative solutions to increase educational prosperity for all children. With a focus on children’s learning, behavioural and health outcomes, our client is now seeking a customer focused Administration & Finance Officer to join their business long term.
The Opportunity
With a core focus on providing administrative and accounts based support to Senior Management and the wider team, the successful candidate will perform the following:
- Provide administration support to Management in the form of diary management, meeting and travel coordination, reporting, minuting meetings, HR admin, events management.
- Office coordination tasks including organising office supplies, inventory management, creating meeting agendas, filing and scanning.
- Bookkeeping and finance tasks such as maintaining financial transactions, weekly reporting to the GM, processing payroll, bank reconciliations, assisting with report preparation for BAS, accounts payables and receivables.
- Provide frontline customer service to clients by phone and at Reception.
You
The successful person is vibrant, enthusiastic and has a natural flair for finance and administration coordination. You have ideally worked in a similar accounts / administration position where you have demonstrated the ability to multi-task and work autonomously. Exposure to Xero or similar accounting programs would be an advantage. You thrive in a tight-knit working environment with your calm and measured approach, while applying your exceptional problem solving skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also important, particularly in Excel, as is a polished and professional phone and face to face manner.
