We have an exciting opportunity for those looking to complete a Business Traineeship!

We are on the look out for motivated, committed and reliable talent - People who are wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training (and a certificate III) in Business.

Who will you be working for?

We think our client is pretty incredible; For more than 109 years, they have cultivated a legacy of innovation that will last for years to come. They are the world’s largest producer of gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment, and are a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of power generation, pressure washer, lawn and garden, turf care and job site products.

What will you be doing?

As a Trainee, you will complete a Certificate III in Business over a 12 month period whilst gaining valuable hands on industry experience.

The successful applicant will provide administrative support to our client, which will include duties such as:

  • Develop effective working relationships with the team as well as key customer stakeholders;
  • Work with the Account Management Specialist to develop a working knowledge of sales concepts, practices and procedures to assist in solving business issues within established guidelines;
  • Build and maintain working relationships with our customers through developing an understanding of the business needs of our clients /customers;
  • Organise and manage the order and logistic processing to meet customer requirements;
  • Support the sales team by providing data analysis, reporting and/or responding to general enquiries;
  • Respond to questions from key customers;
  • Assist in developing internal communications as directed;
  • Work with the Victorian based to team as directed to support the functions of the business;
  • Attend marketing and customer events as directed;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Skills to interact with a diverse group of people;
  • Ability to effectively manage time and assigned tasks;
  • Past experience working in a team environment;
  • Ability to work through issues and provide simple solutions within scope of knowledge and assigned responsibilities;
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel), Google applications;
  • Completion of Year 12;
  • Car and licence preferred.
