As a market leader in Liquid Waste & Industrial Services, we are seeking an energetic and well organised individual to play a vital role in the Operations Team of this rapidly growing business.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for managing a range of day to day administrative duties/activities in operations and assisting the Operations Team where required. Job tasks will be wide and varied and therefore need multitasking, time management and decision making skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers service including answering incoming calls and enquiries.
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Team in all administrative work.
  • Process Job Enquiry and tracking jobs and follow up with clients and individual Sales/Accounts Manager.
  • Generate EPA Certificates.
  • Generate ALS forms.
  • Prepare reports as required for operations.
  • Upload waste log number of all grease traps customers and pump out dates on website once grease traps runs are completed.
  • Create purchase orders for purchasing materials for jobs.
  • Keep up to date Hydrant permit log sheet for each truck.
  • Checking all Job Dockets making sure all supporting documents are completed and attached before passing on to Accounts for invoicing.
  • Coordinating and reconciling staff timesheets.
  • Other administrative duties as and when required.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 Years Administration experience.
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Liquid Waste / Transportation Industry experience would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of worksite/workplace OH&S policy and procedures.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patient attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
  • High concern for quality and order; ability to minimise errors and maintain high standards of work; develop and maintain systems for organising work and information.
