Our client is a family owned civil engineering and construction company based in Brisbane. Celebrating 50 years in business, they pride themselves on successful delivery of innovative and challenging projects within Australia and the Pacific Islands. 

Due to ongoing growth, they have an opportunity for an experienced Welfare Database & Records Administrator to join their team. This position will provide assistance to the Welfare senior leadership team in management of staff rosters, leave and leave coverage, travel and HR process coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively to develop, implement, and maintain robust systems and reporting solutions that provide critical data to other systems and users;

  • Remotely  administering  Income  Support  processes,  databases  and  reporting  requirements including responding to queries and escalating cases that fall outside of established guidelines;

  • Performing data analysis and trend reporting as required;

  • Using highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to consult and negotiate in order to achieve successful outcomes;

  • Establishing positive links and working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of issues.


In addition to possessing excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in:

  • Records and data management, with a strong focus rostering and scheduling;

  • Microsoft Office software (advanced in Excel);

  • Organisation and self-management skills including the ability to prioritise duties and meet deadlines;

  • Working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds will be highly regarded.
