Skilling Australia Foundation (SAF) provides job readiness programs, and matches young people with real employment opportunities, providing ongoing dedicated mentors, and educating employers on the need to develop skills.
The Australian Government Department of Education and Training has engaged the Skilling Australia Foundation to assist local stakeholders to work together to implement P-TECH learning programs at all 14 P-TECH pilot sites.

About the role
This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic experienced Administrative Assistant. This role would be suitable for someone who has solid experience in a general administrative capacity and who wants to use their skills to make a difference in youth education. The responsibilities for the Senior Administrative Assistant will be:
- Manage, maintain, improve and document processes and systems while striving to make the administration as efficient and effective as possible
- Support coordination of the workflow and effectiveness of successful programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to develop documents such as annual reports and spreadsheets that combine official data with a presentable and easy to understand layout.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- At least 5 years in a high level administrative assistant role
- Extensive experience working with internal and external stakeholders and follow through on meeting outcomes
- Result focused, a self-starter with ability to complete work with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills & able to manage multiple deadlines/priorities
- Experience in a wide variety of administrative duties and comfortable with MS Office
- The ability to prepare a variety of high quality written and well-presented documents i.e: correspondence that meet needs of the organisation
Desirable:
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline will be highly regarded
