About us
Southern Cross Roadside Assist is a major supplier of Premium Roadside Assistance Services to numerous Assistance Companies.
The Position
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our growing Logistics and Administration team to assist in the day to day operation of our dispatch office in Lidcombe. This is a part time position.
The position will include some after hours and weekend work from home.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting management with day to day running of the business
- Coordinate the movements of roadside staff across designated operational (geographic) areas
- Provision of support and relaying instructions to roadside staff
- Customer invoicing
- Account reconciliation
- Data entry
- Answering phones
- Uniform and stock allocation
To be the successful applicant for this position you must have your own transport and hold a current drivers licence, as well as possessing the following skills and attributes:
Honesty and integrity
Working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Meticulous data entry skills
Ability to multi task and attention to detail
Pleasant phone manner and the ability to remain calm and rational under pressure
Ability to clearly communicate and coach other team members
A good geographical knowledge of Sydney would be beneficial but is not crucial
