ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This highly reputable Local Council are seeking to engage an Administration - Procurement Officer within their team on a 6 month contract. ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting to your Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Procurement team in the management of contracts. You will further support this team by editing project plans, preparing reports, and managing tender processes.
DUTIES.
- Extract data for projects
- Support the Procurement team
- Manage contracts
- Prepare project plans and reports
- Organise supplier meetings
- General administrative duties
- Previous experience as a Administration - Procurement Officer is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Intermediate in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
