The role

Having been so successful in the acquisition of new high-class commercial clients, the company is in a growth phase and seeks a bright self-starter to join their small friendly team firstly in Terry Hills and in 1 – 2 months’ time, in their new offices in North Sydney. The Contracts Administrator role reports directly to the Managing Director and will perform various backroom duties supporting fulfillment of client-based energy management activities. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic team-oriented environment, the position is responsible for onboarding new clients into the company’s platform(s) and preparation of client invoices.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Participating in client on-boarding process with Key Account Manager (KAM) and client, coordinating the company's client structure set-up, capturing client fulfillment activities detail in BEN platform, and completing corporate Master Data Management (MDM) client set-up.

- Preparing invoices and sending to client. Launching financial AR/AP to the Oracle staging area in a timely manner with proper GL coding attached.

- Performing bill verification process and needed resolution for all supply, pipeline and utility vender invoices with assigned clients.

- Working with the company's MDM team setting up new client and vendor information in Oracle ERP system.

- Providing support with Master Agreement & Service Agreement creation, legal approval and coordination of execution

- Receiving, standardising and analysing information and direction from a variety of sources including Sales, Account Manager & Clients; and remedying errors discovered by coordinating with internal personnels, suppliers and clients in a professional and timely manner.

- Impacting client retention and meeting client-imposed deadlines as well as provide accurate data to satisfy client.

Requirements

- High School graduation or equivalent with at least 5 years accounting, pipeline or gas/electric utility experience.

- Previous experience and/ or a keen interest in working within the natural gas or electric industry is desirable. An understanding of energy procurement contract and energy bills will be a great bonus.

- Have an eye for details, the ability to collaborate and work as a team, to multi-task and juggle competing priorities, and the ability to work independently, however, within controlled business policies.

- Strong verbal and written English communication and excellent customer services and engagement skills.

- Willing to commute daily (Mon. - Fri.) to our client’s office in Terry Hills (on-site parking spots are available) for at least the first few months - Offices will be relocated to North Sydney.
