This Federal Government Agency is well known for the implementation of national policy and programs that are crucial to continued coordination of significant national events. Under high profile at present, this Agency is in need of additional support to assist with an increased workload. Your new role
Working in a high performing team that is tasked with the coordination, planning and policy development relating to specific events, you will be providing administrative support to a busy project team. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the project team, inclusive of making appointments, replying to queries and liasing with internal and external stakeholders
- Compile meeting minutes, inclusive of action items, and follow up on outcomes
- Create and manage assessment framework, make recommendations based on assessment and identify risks
- High level stakeholder liaison, inclusive of being responsive to a highly reactive external environment
- Support whole of Agency planning and objectives
- Ad-hoc administration duties to support the Branch as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a Federal Government environment. You will be an Australian Citizen, and hold, or be willing to obtain, a Baseline Security Clearance.
You ideally will have experience with the development of documentation, inclusive of reports and/or minutes for Senior Executives. You will be a confident communicator, with significant experience with stakeholder liaison, both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to hit the ground running, and quickly develop an understanding of the processes and the subject matter the Agency is responsible for implementing. You will be comfortable working across a range of tasks and always deliver your work to a high standard.
