A world leader in the manufacture of Glasswool insulation and active in over 50 countries with 30+ manufacturing sites producing sustainable building and Glasswool products worldwide.

Currently, Knauf Insulation requires an Experienced Full Time Customer Service Professional to join our small but dynamic team at our Asia Pacific head office based in Murarrie.

This role forms a vital part of our sales process and is responsible for ensuring that customer enquiries are handled effectively and professionally.

 

Reporting to the Sales Fulfilment Manager, major responsibilities of this role include:

• Customer service function in a people focused manner for the Asia Pacific Market (focusing predominately on Australia and New Zealand).

• Professionally handling incoming external and internal customer enquiries, processing orders and coordinating deliveries.

• Monitoring of service issues and taking action to ensure effective and prompt resolution.

• Taking ownership of issues that require extra attention.

• Ensuring that internal customer service maintains our exceptional high standard and "can-do" approach.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service understanding, methodology and processes.

• Achieving set Customer focused KPIs.

• Sales support to our National Sales team.

 

 

The successful candidate will show:

• The ability to provide quality customer service.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• High level of professionalism and a strong customer focus.

• Must possess a positive attitude and be self-motivated.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment.

• Accurate computer skills

• Exposure to ERP systems (preferably SAP) is an advantage but not essential.

• Experience in a similar role.
