Hudson is a global talent solutions company now partnering with leading Government Departments in Brisbane! We are seeking a Clinical Incident Lead for a 12 month contract commencing ASAP!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clinical Incident Lead will be responsible for the daily management of clinical incidents. To be successful in this role, clinical judgement, investigative analysis, problem solving & strong organisational skills will be required. The Clinical Incident Lead will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and management of incidents referred to the clinical incident management service on a daily basis;
  • Apply analysis and judgement when managing incidents to achieve resolution or minimise impact as quickly as possible;
  • Ensure timely production of high quality executive level deliverables aligned with expectations of established governance arrangements;
  • Provision of support to the interface between clinical incidents and clinical risk management.
  • Be available for an on-call roster to support 24/7 delivery of the clinical incident management service;
  • Build and maintain relationships across the business to support incident resolution, more specifically with the System Operations Incident Management Team and the Clinical Safety Team;
  • Proactively drive the implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework across all areas of incident management;
  • Confident in escalating any incidents or issues to the Clinical Incident Manager as required;
  • Input into the development and establishment of the Clinical Incident Management service procedures, processes and policy

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Prior experience in a clinical discipline
  • Health or medical industry experience
  • Ability to produce high quality reports
  • An ability to be flexible and adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal; with the ability to provide accurate and timely information and advice.
  • The ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Well-developed time management, organisation, research and analytical skills and an ability to achieve results.
