The Company

My client are a well known provider of logistic services and expertise across Australia and New Zealand. Coming up to their busy period, they are looking to expand their  team with a new claims and insurance coordinator. This role is based in Laverton with free car parking available, so you have the opportunity to avoid the CBD!

 

The Role

Situated in the Claims Department and reporting into the Insurance Manager, your primary purpose is to provide successful provision of  the end to end claims management process.

Maintaining a high level of organisation and time management, your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Process and manage claims from lodgement to finalisation (end to end)
  • Provide technical advice and client support on all claims
  • Evaluate and make decisions based on company contracts and policies
  • Process and handle claims within time frames and deadlines
  • Action all incoming mail via mailbox
  • Ensure payments and settlements are raised with accuracy
  • Build relationships with clients throughout the claims process
  • Diary management and email correspondence
  • Liaise and problem solve client queries and complaints
  • General administration duties

 

What you will need to succeed?

  • Experience working in an customer service/high volume administration processing capacity in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and fast typing skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions and create solutions
  • An enthusiastic, motivated and team focused attitude
