Woods & Co are looking for two Administration Assistants to join a reputable  company in the finance sector. Based in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, you'll be assisting the management team & financial planners on a day-to-day basis.

If you are an office all-rounder/administrator, you like the sound of working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to build relationships quickly, we want to hear from you!
  
What will you do?  
  • Daily reconciliation of bank account.
  • Quarterly audits of portfolio.
  • Direct assistant to the Financial Advisors and clients. 
  • Effectively manage emails & answer phone calls.
  • General administration tasks.
  • Answer tax queries.
  • Update estate planning information.
  • Preparation of: application forms; investment reviews (quarterly); annual taxation information; and insurance applications.
  • Collate information.
  • Liaise with: clients; tax advisors; and internal and external accountants.
  • Be the initial contact for all client enquiries regarding administrative matters.
  • Set up new client accounts, including the establishment of SMSFs.
  • Attend meetings with Advisors.
What do you need
  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • Outstanding organisation and communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Highly dependable
  • An ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • High capacity for multitasking.
  • Ability to function in a high-pressure environment.
  • An interest in financial planning.
  • A desire to settle into a long-term role with the company (with opportunities to grow down the track).
  • Impeccable customer service.
  • Knowledge of how self-managed superannuation funds operate preferable.
  • X-plan experience preferable.
