Your new company
Your new company is a dynamic Construction firm that has had a successful history in Melbourne for the past 15 years. They have a strong retention rate among their staff and have experienced year-on-year growth. Located in Wantirna, this position has been newly created to help manage the influx of work.

Your new role
Assisting the Project Manager, you will be one of 6 administrators and points of contact for project stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing central coordination across your business portfolio of projects. Your role will involve;

  • Liaising with key stakeholders including tradespeople, builders, suppliers
  • Responding to customer queries and providing quotes- via email and phone correspondence
  • Reviewing work orders and determining priorities
  • Analysing product specifications and capacity to determine correct processes, tools, sequences and labour requirements to meet delivery standards
  • Planning and scheduling workflows and revising when necessary
  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in a timely manner
  • Suggesting ideas for process improvement and increased productivity


What you'll need to succeed
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will ensure you have the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and Project Managers across the business. Your strong eye for detail, solid administration experience and ability to effectively prioritise conflicting tasks are paramount to this role. To be successful for this position, you need to have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and have a passion for coordination. The ideal candidate will have recent experience as an administrator within the construction or property industry.
